Felipe Lagno is the Corporate Head of Innovation and Technology at CODELCO – Corporación Nacional del Cobre de Chile, a position held since January 2012, where responsibilities include executing the innovation strategy focusing on disruptive innovation, incremental innovation, automation in mining, and digital transformation. Prior roles at CODELCO encompass Head of Innovation in Metallurgical Processes, Innovation Manager, Project Manager, Plant Manager, and Development Manager, leading various projects and initiatives across the ore beneficiation value chain. Previous experience includes technology management at Ecometales Limited and project leadership at IM2. Felipe Lagno holds a Ph.D. in Metallurgical Engineering from McGill University, an M.Eng in Extractive Metallurgy from Universidad de Chile, and a degree from Universidad de Chile.
