Fredy M Varas

Fredy M. Varas, Ing C, MBA, is a Mining Engineer who graduated from the Universidad de Santiago in 1987 and has continually advanced in the field of underground mining projects. They obtained a Master's Degree in Management and Business Administration from the same university and furthered their expertise with a Diploma in Management, Leadership, and Project Management from the Catholic University of Chile. Currently serving as Gerente Proyecto Andesita at Codelco Chile, Fredy has over 15 years of experience specializing in multi-million dollar underground mining projects, including leading the groundbreaking LHD automation project in the North Pipa Project. An active member of the Project Management Institute, Fredy combines technical knowledge with innovative approaches to enhance mining operations globally.
