Georg Welzel

Georg Welzel is a tri-lingual civil engineer with extensive experience in directing, coordinating, and developing infrastructure projects, particularly in water engineering and sustainability. Georg has worked in various roles, including Consultant, Project Manager, and Advisor to the General Director of Waters, contributing to significant projects across Latin America and beyond. Currently, Georg serves as a Water Resources Specialist and other roles at CODELCO, focusing on water and tailings planning and management. Georg holds a Master's in Sustainable Forestry and Land Use Management, a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering, and an MBA in Business Administration from prominent institutions in Germany and Chile.
