Hugo Morales

Hugo Morales is an experienced engineer specializing in automation and control systems, having held various leadership roles at CODELCO – Corporación Nacional del Cobre de Chile from 2009 to 2021. As Jefe de Unidad for the Electrical Control and Instrumentation department, Hugo was responsible for planning and executing maintenance strategies while overseeing a team of more than 50 workers. Previously, Hugo contributed to multiple projects focused on enhancing reliability in automation systems, including commissioning new acid plants. Hugo holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Asset Management and Operational Reliability from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, where they also completed a diploma in Asset and Maintenance Management.
