Julio Hidalgo has extensive experience in the mining industry, particularly with CODELCO – Corporación Nacional del Cobre de Chile, where Julio has held the position of Jefe Turno en Operaciones Mina since July 2011 and previously served as Ingeniero Mantencion Equipos Mina and Ingeniero Proceso from September 1999 to February 2011. Julio Hidalgo holds a degree in Ingeniero Civil Industrial en Minas from Universidad de Antofagasta, completed in 1998, along with a Diplomado en ciencia de la Ingeniería y extracción de minerales from the same institution. Additionally, Julio Hidalgo has obtained a degree in Ingeniero Prevencion de Riesgo Calidad y Ambiente from Universitaria Tecnologica Metropolitana UTM.
