Mauricio Cordero

Mauricio Cordero is currently the Director Corporativo de Estudios Minería Subterránea at Codelco, where they oversee the Corporate Mining Studies Management. With a background as a Civil Mining Engineer and a Master's in Business Administration, Mauricio has managed various mining projects, including both underground and surface mining, and has expertise in planning, design, and cost estimation globally. Previously, Mauricio held several positions at Codelco, including Senior Specialist in Strategic Planning and Lead Engineer for the Chuquicamata Underground Mine Project. They also worked at NCL Brasil and Coffey International Ltd, contributing to key mining projects throughout their career.
