Nelson Cuello

Nelson Cuello is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in maintenance planning within the mining sector. Currently serving as Planificador Mantenimiento Mina and Planificador Mantenimiento Chancado at CODELCO since April 2022, Nelson previously held various engineering and planning roles at Yamana Gold Inc. from October 2015 to April 2022, including Ingeniero Planificador Mantenimiento Mina Equipos móviles. Early career experience includes a role at Antofagasta Terminal Internacional, where Nelson implemented a predictive maintenance plan based on RCM, and an internship at Komatsu Reman Center Chile focused on analysis of equipment control. Nelson holds a Diplomat in Reliability, Maintenance, and Asset Management Engineering from Universidad de Chile and a degree in Industrial Civil Engineering with a focus on Electronics from Universidad de Antofagasta.
