Romela Marín

Romela Marín is currently the Coordinadora Vigilancia Tecnológica at CODELCO – Corporación Nacional del Cobre de Chile, where they lead a portfolio of over 40 technological surveillance studies to support decision-making in innovation projects. Romela holds a degree in Civil Biotechnology from Universidad de Chile and a Master's in Business Innovation Management from Universidad Mayor. With more than 12 years of experience in Chile and the USA, they have specialized in corporate and open innovation management, successfully implementing various innovative projects across multiple industries. Previously, Romela served as Gerente de Proyectos at Trencadis, where they implemented innovation models for notable companies, and as Gestor de Proyectos de Innovación at CodelcoTech, where they mentored numerous early-stage startups.
