Markku Koistinen

Markku Koistinen has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Markku started their career as a self-employed graphic designer, specializing in B2B projects with a strong focus on technology. During this time, they worked on various commercial designs and trailblazing projects for early web services. Markku'spassion for typography, UI, and UX emerged from this era.

After their freelance work, Markku joined Finnmail Oy as an Information Technology Manager. In this role, they were responsible for the end-to-end technology operations and led the development of tech solutions, including print-on-demand development. Markku gained valuable experience in direct marketing and IT enabler development.

Following their tenure at Finnmail, Markku worked at Experian Oy as the Director of Technology and Data. Markku was accountable for all technology solutions in customer projects, serving both national and international companies. Markku led implementation and integration projects and also took a hands-on approach in delivering tech projects.

Later, Markku joined Andumus Oy as a Data and Analytics Technology Consultant. Markku'smain responsibilities included leading customer projects from a technology perspective and deploying analytics solutions for operational use. Markku primarily served big Finnish companies with complex data and analytics projects.

In 2011, Markku transitioned to the role of Senior Digital Developer and Designer at Green technology within the Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke). Markku undertook various significant development projects, starting with prototypes created alongside science teams and eventually designing operational systems to enhance client operations. Markku worked on architectures, data, and analytics environments, as well as end-to-end solutions incorporating both back-end and front-end development.

Continuing their journey at the Natural Resources Institute Finland, Markku became a Full Stack Developer. In this role, they were responsible for developing and maintaining operational systems used by B2B clients. Markku worked on end-to-end solutions, but also focused on operative problem-solving and testing before roll-out. Markku gained insights into rolling out operational B2C services and organizing project work.

Markku then joined Accenture as a Technology Architecture Delivery Assoc Manager. Markku fulfilled the roles of a coding architect, team lead, and people lead in the Technology and Architecture Delivery team. This position provided him with an enhanced understanding of working with global companies, multinational teams, and complex technology deliveries and transformations.

Currently, Markku holds the position of Software Architect at Codento Oy, starting in 2022. Further details about this role have not been provided.
