Erica Wong

Erica Wong is the Director of Development at CodePath.org. Erica has been with the organization since August 2015 and in their current role, they manage a team of 24 developers and is responsible for the success of 6 program sites. Erica has been instrumental in recruiting and training new volunteer teachers, collecting and managing student and program data, and securing internships for students. Erica also piloted the Hello/Girl program and managed relationships with 10 corporate partners for the internship program.

Prior to joining CodePath.org, Erica was a Project Manager at ROCK SF, a community-based youth development organization serving public school students in Visitation Valley, San Francisco, CA. Erica was hired to assume the responsibilities of the Program Director during parental leave.

Before their work at ROCK SF, Erica was with Brit + Co as the MakeShop Coordinator and with Techbridge Girls as a Program Coordinator. Erica began their career as a Secondary Educator at KIPP Houston: KIPP Voyage Academy For Girls.

Erica Wong earned their B.A. in International Studies and Spanish from Pepperdine University. Erica also has a minor in Accounting from Pepperdine University. Erica then went on to earn their Spanish and Latin American Studies certification from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina 'Santa María de los Buenos Aires'​. Erica is also certified by the Texas Education Agency in Certified Teacher (ESL Supplement) and Certified Teacher (Generalist 4-8).

They are on a team with Kelly Anguiano - VP, Programs, Annie Brown - Director, Communications, and Tim Lee - Co-Founder & Chief Learning Officer. Their manager is Michael Ellison, Co-Founder & CEO.
