Catherine Lagarde

Catherine Lagarde has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and network engineering. Catherine is currently working as a Cybersecurity Lead/Manager at Codeplay Software, a position they started in May 2022. Prior to this, Catherine worked at Capgemini as a DevSecOps Delivery Consultant from November 2020 to May 2022. Catherine also worked at Cloudreach as a Cloud Security Engineer from May 2018 to November 2020. Catherine's earlier experience includes internships at Codeplay Software Ltd, where they served as an Intern Network Security Engineer from May 2016 to September 2017, and as an Intern Network Engineer from April 2015 to August 2015. In these roles, they implemented and monitored security systems, aided in network re-design, and managed switching configuration.

Catherine Lagarde obtained their BEng (Hons) degree in Cyber Security & Forensics from Edinburgh Napier University, where they studied from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they pursued a HND in Networking at Edinburgh College from 2014 to 2016. In addition to their degree programs, Catherine has also obtained several certifications from Alert Logic. In June 2019, they became an Alert Logic Solutions Architect (ALSA). This was followed by their completion of the Alert Logic Sales Professional (ALSP) certification in October 2019 and the Alert Logic Support Expert (ALSE) certification in November 2019.
