Anders Knight

Anders Knight is a Senior Scientist I in Molecular and Cellular Engineering at Codexis, Inc., with prior roles progressing from Scientist I to Scientist II in the same department since June 2020. Anders holds a PhD in Bioengineering from Caltech, where involvement with Professor Frances H. Arnold's research group focused on directed evolution techniques for protein engineering. Previous experience includes an internship at Codexis, a DAAD Guest Researcher at Ernst-Moritz-Arndt Universität Greifswald, and research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, including work exploring electrostatic effects on protein folding. Anders also has experience as a student representative and grading assistant during their undergraduate studies.
