David Entwistle has over 23 years of work experience. David started their career as a Post Doctoral Researcher at Virginia Tech and the University of Florida, where they conducted research on the synthesis of pseudosugar conjugates. David then worked as a Teaching Fellow at the University of Nottingham, focusing on the synthesis of natural products. David later joined Pfizer Global R&D as an Associate Research Fellow, where they remained for 14 years. There, they contributed to various research projects. Currently, they are working at Codexis, where they have held roles such as Head of Chemical Development and Head of Process Chemistry, overseeing the development and production of pharmaceutical intermediates and bioindustrial feedstocks.
David Entwistle completed their education in the field of Synthetic Organic Chemistry from Imperial College London. David pursued a Bachelor of Science degree and later went on to earn their PhD from the same institution.
