Harminder Mashiana

Harminder Mashiana is a highly experienced biotechnology professional with a focus on protein engineering and biotherapeutics. Currently serving as Principal Scientist at Codexis, Inc. since December 2019, Harminder plays a key role in developing and optimizing proteins for pharmaceutical and industrial applications. Previous roles include Principal Scientist at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, Associate Director at Bio-Processing Alliance Inc., Director of Manufacturing Downstream at Cytovance Biologics, Senior Scientist in Downstream Process Development at QSV Biologics, Staff Scientist at Bio-Rad Laboratories, and Scientist in Downstream Process Development at McGhan Medical (now Allergan Pharmaceuticals). Harminder holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Punjab Agricultural University, earned in 1994.
