Joly Sukumaran is a Scientist and Technical Lead at Codexis, where involvement includes leading a multidisciplinary team to develop enzymes with new and improved properties for client-facing projects since May 2007. Previous experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at TU Darmstadt, focusing on assay development for translocase mutants (2005-2006), and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at TU Delft, working on the enzymatic synthesis of Chrysanthemic acid esters (2003-2004). Joly Sukumaran also completed a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry at NIIST, Trivandrum, India, where research was conducted from 1998 to 2002.
