Roger Thornton

Roger Thornton is a seasoned leader in the cybersecurity and technology sectors, currently serving as Co-Founder and General Partner at Ballistic Ventures since December 2021, focused on funding innovations in cybersecurity. Thornton holds multiple roles including Investor and Board Member at companies such as Codezero Technologies Inc., WitnessAI, GetReal Labs, and Nudge Security, each dedicated to enhancing security in various technological contexts. Prior to these positions, Thornton served as Managing Member at Area 51 Ventures, where early-stage investments in cybersecurity startups were emphasized. Their career includes significant roles at AT&T CyberSecurity and AlienVault, the latter of which Roger co-founded. Roger Thornton earned an MS in Computer Engineering and a BS in Engineering from San Jose State University.
