Suliman A.

Suliman A. has extensive experience in the field of information technology and management. Suliman has held various roles in different companies over the years.

Suliman A. started their career at Cable & Wireless Communications in 1998, where they worked as a System Engineer. In this role, they oversaw the architecture, implementation, and operations of the U.S. national SAP ERP system.

In 2001, Suliman A. joined IBM as a Database Administrator. Here, they supervised the SAP ERP global architecture, implementation, and operations. Suliman was responsible for various modules including sales, distribution, financial controlling, and more.

Following their time at IBM, Suliman A. worked at Discovery Inc as an Information Technology Manager from 2003 to 2007. Suliman oversaw a global IT database project and managed systems linking television programming with agencies for advertising deals.

From 2007 to 2012, Suliman A. worked as an Information Technology Consultant for the District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS). Their responsibilities in this role included implementing and managing IT projects.

In 2012, Suliman A. started working at the Transportation Research Board: National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine as the Director of Information Technology. Suliman supervised the organization's technology roadmaps, architecture, implementation, and service. Suliman also managed a $2.5M budget and a team of nine IT staff.

During the same year, Suliman A. also worked as an Information Technology Consultant for the DC Health Benefit Exchange Authority. Suliman wrote technical components of RFPs for the IT strategy and deployment of a health insurance exchange used by 100,000 DC residents.

Currently, Suliman A. holds the position of Chief Information Officer at CODICE, starting in 2023.

Suliman A. has pursued higher education at George Mason University - College of Engineering and Computing. They obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology in 2015. They also completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management with an expected completion date of 2022. Additionally, Suliman A. has pursued several graduate certificates in various fields of study. These certificates include Information Technology Global Leadership, Chief Information Officer, and Information Technology Strategy and Digital Transformation, all of which are expected to be completed by 2022. Suliman A. also engaged in the National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity program at George Mason University - College of Engineering and Computing, with completion in 2021.
