Emily Pelkowski

Emily Pelkowski is the current Career Services Manager at Coding Dojo. Prior to their current position, Emily was an Adjunct Instructor at Rochester Institute of Technology, Nazareth College, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Emily has experience coordinating all aspects of on-campus recruiting programs and has advised students in individual appointments on topics such as job search strategies, resume critiques, interview skills, and graduate school essays. Emily has also presented workshops to students on topics such as resume writing and interview techniques.

Emily Pelkowski has a Masters in College Student Personnel from the University of Rhode Island and a Bachelors in English (Creative Writing) with a Communications/Journalism minor from St. John Fisher University. Emily is also certified as a Desire Map Facilitator by Danielle LaPorte, a SmartStart Facilitator by AAUW, and a Fire Starter Sessions Facilitator by Danielle LaPorte. Gay Alliance of the Genesee Valley has certified their as a Safe Zone Trainer.

They work with Tilda Gross - Career Services Manager, Donald Woodard - Career Services Manager, and Ginnah Etah - Career Services Manager. Their manager is Duy Lyford, Lead Career Services Manager.
