Erika Underwood

Erika Underwood is the Director of Partnerships & Recruitment at Coding Dojo. Erika has over eight years of experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining programs, as well as team leadership and sales.

Underwood began their career as an Account Executive at KBL Group International LTD in 2013. Erika was quickly promoted to Program Director of Fellowships & Partnerships at The Data Incubator in 2016. In this role, they developed and oversaw eight individual programs, increasing placement revenue by 100%. Erika also managed the admissions team, increasing the student conversion rate from 18% to 47%.

In 2021, Underwood was promoted to their current role as Director of Partnerships & Recruitment at Coding Dojo. In this role, they are responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships, as well as overseeing recruitment. Underwood has been instrumental in increasing Coding Dojo’s visibility and reach, and is committed to helping students reach their full potential.

Erika Underwood has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Retail Management from Purdue University and an Associate's degree in Fashion Merchandise Managment from the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Erika Underwood reports to Amanda Russell, Chief of Staff. They work with Carrie Filori - Director, HR, Lei Pakalani - Director, HR.
