Rebecca Betts

Rebecca Betts is the current Assistant Director of Student Experience at Coding Dojo. Rebecca has previous experience as a Full Stack Developer, Captain, and Shop Manager.

Rebecca gained 80 hours per week of coding experience while working as a Full Stack Developer, totaling more than 1000 hours of coding experience. Rebecca is proficient in languages such as JavaScript, C#, and Python, and is familiar with libraries and databases including jQuery, Socket.io, Mongoose, Express.js, React,js, Ajax, JSON, MongoDB, MySQL, Razor, Entity Framework, and .NET Core.

During their time as Shop Manager at Williams flowers and gifts, Rebecca was responsible for managing the shop and its employees. Rebecca oversaw daily operations and ensured that the shop ran smoothly.

As Captain with Ride The Ducks of Seattle, Rebecca was responsible for leading tours and providing information to visitors. Rebecca ensured that everyone on the tour had a safe and enjoyable experience.

In their current role as Lead Onboarding Manager at Coding Dojo, Rebecca is responsible for onboarding new students and helping them adjust to the Coding Dojo community. Rebecca provides support and guidance to ensure that each student has a positive experience and is able to successfully complete the program.

Rebecca Betts has a certificate of completion in computer programming from Coding Dojo and a double black-belt from Park High School.

Rebecca Betts works with Speros Misirlakis - VP, Instruction, Todd Enders - VP, Curriculum & Content. Rebecca Betts reports to Jessica Chartier, Chief Learning Officer. McKenna Tey - Onboarding Success Manager, Phillip Reed - Onboarding Success Manager, and Robert Hannan - Lead Student Support Manager report to Rebecca Betts.
