Byron Byfield

Byron joined Codman as Chief Information Officer in July 2019. Before joining them, he worked at Compass Medical for more than eleven years as a Director of Health Informatics and the Internet Security Officer. He has also worked in IT at the New England Quality Care Alliance, South Shore Physician Hospital Organizations, and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, as well as at St. Luke’s Hospital in New York City.

Byron holds a Bachelor's Degree from Dartmouth College, is certified as a CHCIO through the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives, and is certified through Harvard University in cyber security.
