Monique McCurbin

Monique McCurbin has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Monique is currently working as an Associate Medical Director at Codman Square Health Center. Prior to this, they worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at North Providence Primary Care from 2017 to present. In this role, they provided primary patient care services and delivered urgent care to patients of all ages.

Before joining North Providence Primary Care, Monique worked as a Registered Nurse at New England Sinai Hospital from 2015 to 2022, where they assessed and implemented physician care plans for patients in their homes. From 2013 to 2015, they also served as a Registered Nurse at Maxim Healthcare Services/Centrus Healthcare, leveraging their knowledge of assessment and critical care to improve treatment and recovery time for patients in their homes.

Additionally, Monique has experience as a Nurse Leader at The Education Cooperative from 2011 to 2013, where they increased efficiency by delegating workload appropriately among the school nursing staff. Monique also worked as a Registered Nurse at Pediatric Services of America from 2009 to 2013, providing continuous care assessments and precautionary measures for young patients in their homes. Throughout their career, Monique has demonstrated strong clinical skills and a dedication to patient care.

Monique McCurbin completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, starting in 2003 and finishing in 2008. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Family Practice Nurse/Nursing at Regis College from 2010 to 2013. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including Registered Nurse from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in January 2009, Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in March 2015, Family Nurse Practitioner Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center in November 2015, Certified Nurse Practitioner from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in June 2016, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in July 2016.
