Renee Crichlow

Chief Medical Officer at Codman Square Health Center

Renee Crichlow joined Codman in February of 2021 as Chief Medical Officer when Chip Severin stepped down to focus on patient care. She is also the incoming Vice-Chair of Health Equity at the Boston University Department of Family Medicine, and the medical editor for Diversity Equity and Inclusion of American Family Physicians.

Dr. Crichlow was most recently the Director of Advocacy and Policy at the University of Minnesota Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. She is also the immediate past President of the Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Crichlow is also on the Board of Directors of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine and the founder of The Ladder, a mentorship program for kids interested in health careers. She is excited to put her skills and experience to work here at Codman and to learn all about the community.

Dr. Crichlow spends her free time enjoying her family, sharing books, movies, and long walks together. Her cat and dog are getting to know each other which is going as well as you can imagine.
