Thabiti Brown

Thabiti has served on the CSHC Board since 2005. In his day job, he is the Head of School of Codman Academy Charter Public School where he has worked since the school’s inception in 2001. He holds a BA in Urban Studies/American Civilizations from Brown University and an MA in Social Studies from Columbia University Teachers College. He has taught at the Beacon School in New York and at the International School of Panama and is a recipient of the 2005 Educator Award from the Milken Family Foundation.

Thabiti also serves on the Boards of the Civic Education Project (2004-present) and the Cambridgeport Children’s Center (2009-present).
