Theirun Kim has worked for a variety of companies since 2002. Theirun began their career at Motorola Inc. as a Senior UI Designer, where they led the user experience development of Mobile Instant Messaging and co-led early-stage product planning of the emerging Mobile Presence feature. In 2005, they moved to Tegic Communications, Inc. as a Senior Designer and Information Architect. In 2006, they joined Microsoft Corp. as a Senior User Experience Program Manager, where they served as the first PM owner for the brand's representative service Live. In 2011, they became the Director of User Experience at Connexive. In 2012, they joined Strevus as the Director of User Experience, where they delivered simple and intuitive user experience to the traditionally UX-deprived regulatory data management market for financial industry, built and grew a high-performing user experience design team, and owned the user experience end-to-end. In 2015, Theirun co-founded UJET, a B2B SaaS tech startup, and served as the Chief Product Officer. Most recently, in 2019, Theirun founded CoDo, where they serve as Founder, CEO and Head of Customer Success.
Theirun Kim attended Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology from 1994 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design. Theirun then attended Carnegie Mellon University from 2000 to 2002 and obtained a Master of Design in Interaction Design. Finally, Theirun Kim attended the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business from 2008 to 2010 and obtained an MBA in Business.
