Katie Sieverman

Katie Sieverman, PhD, is the Director of Content at Codon Learning, where they lead a team in the development of digital educational resources that promote evidence-based teaching practices. With a background as an academic researcher in biology and extensive teaching experience across multiple institutions, Katie transitioned into EdTech during the pandemic to leverage their leadership and communication skills. They previously held positions as a Science Content Manager at McGraw Hill and as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Fort Lewis College, engaging with and mentoring hundreds of undergraduate students. Katie earned their PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, after completing a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at The University of Texas at Austin.
