Alain Helbert

Alain Helbert has extensive experience in accounting and finance, currently serving as the Head of the Accounting Department at Coface since October 2017, overseeing general accounting, taxes, investment accounting, and supplier accounting. Prior to this role, Alain was the Head of Accounting at VTB Bank France for a brief period in early 2017 and worked as an Accountant at AXA Investment Managers from November 2014 to January 2017, focusing on investment operations and financial reporting. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Account Manager and Business Unit Controller at LCH.Clearnet, where responsibility encompassed managing a team and overseeing accounting, tax tasks, and financial statements across multiple jurisdictions. Alain's career began as a Collaborateur comptable at Groupe DSA, managing a diverse portfolio of clients. Alain holds a DECF in Accounting and Finance from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers and completed an intensive English program at Kaplan International Sydney.
