Sam Lee

Sam Lee, CFA, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in credit management and risk assessment across the Asia Pacific region. Currently serving as the Head of Credit, Claims and Debt Collection at Coface since March 2017, Sam oversees operations in 14 countries and leads a team of approximately 60 staff. Previously held positions at Coface include Head of the Enhanced Information Center and Vice President of Risk Underwriting, where responsibilities encompassed managing credit analysts and overseeing the creditworthiness assessments of diverse portfolios. Prior to joining Coface, Sam contributed to building the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practice at CSG Consultancy and led corporate debt underwriting at GE Capital. Sam holds a Master of Business Administration from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and is a Chartered Financial Analyst since 2004.
