We want to challenge perceptions of black coffee in America while uplifting the lives of the underserved in our local communities.

Mission:
We’re a black and minority-owned business built by a friendly bunch of coffee-lovers with 90s childhoods. Not just that, but we bring excitement and approachability to specialty coffee, and uplift the lives of the underserved in our beloved, local communities.

Our owner’s passion to create a better life for his son, adopted niece, himself and his community, is what kicked this whole thing off.

With that and our team’s shared LOVE for GREAT coffee and not sugar bombs you get from a drive through, gave life to the purpose we aim to fulfill.

Here’s HOW we’re different:

Early on, we connected with a small, family-owned Nicaraguan coffee farm called, La Dalia Coffee, who pays their workers 30-40% higher wages than neighboring farms. They’ve also helped a local philanthropist build a small school to educate children of ALL workers in the area not just La Dalia’s.

The farm owner’s son, Ernesto, then personally roasts the beans himself here in Southern California.

We then provide La Dalia's and other globally-sourced fair-trade specialty coffees for sale online, and serve them as a part of our mobile cafe and barista service.

Our planned IMPACT:

Our simple and humble vision is that as a for-profit company, philanthropy is at the heart of why we do this.

We want to positively impact every community within which we operate via our planned, nationwide network of coffee carts.

The carts will go to our customers and will be focused on providing fast, quality service/products, while donating generous portions of proceeds to local non-profits that make a BIG difference.

Right now for example, 5-10% of every purchase you make is donated to Learning Works Charter School (LWCS) in Pasadena, CA. It’s a non-profit, public charter school whose basic goal is about keeping at-risk youth off the streets and in the classroom.
