Fred Barker

Fred is a principal and licensed professional and structural engineer in the Seattle Office. He has structural design and multidiscipline project management experience for design-bid-build and design-build projects. He has design experience in federal, commercial, industrial, residential, and renovation projects involving a wide variety of building materials and structural systems. This includes seismic evaluations, analysis and retrofit of existing buildings, design for new ground-up buildings, and design for tenant improvements. His engineering background the design of steel, reinforced concrete, timber, and masonry structures, as well as structural and finite element analysis. Having worked with a variety of clients, Fred is very effective at bringing practical and innovative solutions to projects based on the client’s specific and unique needs.
