Rob is a project management principal in Coffman’s Anchorage office and a registered civil engineer, structural engineer, and project management professional. Rob specializes in industrial projects working on petroleum facilities, liquified natural gas facilities, refineries, and terminals.

Rob is a dynamic engineer well-versed in multidiscipline engineering design projects and excels at problem solving, planning, and project implementation skills, from design through construction. He is also proficient in providing project management, structural engineering, design, and construction management for all types and sizes of projects. Rob’s management experience includes projects for upstream and downstream oil and gas clients. Upstream North Slope projects include conceptual studies, facility development plans, mitigation of subsidence to existing pipelines, pre-engineered metal buildings, and truckable module design, including installation and connection to existing facility infrastructure. Downstream project experience includes project management, engineering and design, and onsite field engineering for petroleum facilities capital and turnaround projects.

The project management group at Coffman works to strengthen the entire multidiscipline team by providing qualified technical project managers/engineers for larger projects, allowing technical staff to focus on the design details. This effort includes mentoring and training employees on project management processes and building client relationships.
