Alton Pope

Alton Pope has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Alton is currently working as a Lead Business Architect at Coforge, where they manage solution delivery for large-scale Go to Market (GTM) Cloud applications and develops business capability models. Prior to this, Alton worked at Alpharetta Consulting as a Lead Business Architect, where they improved processes and organizational effectiveness and provided strategic direction through the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data.

Alton also served as an Associate Manager and Senior Business Consultant at Virtusa from 2014 to 2019. Alton worked as a Business Architect Consultant at Rulesware in 2014, conducting interviews and facilitating meetings to validate performance goals and designing business and data models.

Before joining Rulesware, Alton worked at Cigna as an Application Development Senior Specialist/Lead, leading cross-functional teams and creating SQL reports for various departments. Alton also held positions at Great American Financial Resources as an Application Analyst and Developer, and at Great American Supplemental Benefits Group as a Business Systems Analyst.

Alton's early work experience includes roles as a Financial Analyst at Tello's Painting, a Retail Store Manager at Hastings Entertainment - College Station, and a District Sales Manager at Stanley Inc.

Alton Pope obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Sam Houston State University in the years 2001-2003. Prior to that, they attended Texas Tech University from 1997-1999, although the degree obtained during that time is unspecified. In addition to their formal education, Alton Pope has obtained various certifications including Certified SAFe® 5 Scrum Master, Business Analytics Foundations, and Certified Pega Business Architect, among others.
