Sumedh Patil

Sumedh Patil has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sumedh started their career as a Graduate Trainee Engineer at Cummins India Ltd in 2000. Sumedh then moved on to work at Infosys, where they held various roles including Software Engineer, Technology Lead, and Technology Architect, specializing in ETL solutions for banking majors. In 2021, Sumedh joined Red Hat as a Business Intelligence Solutions Architect, leading strategic program initiatives and playing an active role in design thinking and data science communities. Currently, they are working as a Practice Lead - Data at Coforge. Sumedh has demonstrated expertise in solution architecture, upgrading data systems, and developing data pipelines using various technologies such as Python, Red Hat Openshift, and Informatica cloud.

Sumedh Patil obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Bharati Vidyapeeth from 1996 to 2000. From 2016 to 2019, they pursued a Master of Arts in Economics at Savitribai Phule Pune University. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications such as Red Hat Certified Specialist in Containers and Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure data science Associate, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate. Sumedh also has certifications in data warehousing, data engineering, and generative AI fundamentals from Snowflake and Databricks.
