Birgit Schmitz

Birgit Schmitz is an experienced professional in event management with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Manager of Events at COFRA Holding AG since June 2018, Birgit previously held the role of Travel & Events Manager at Anthos from January 2012 to December 2018. Prior to this, Birgit owned and operated BS Project en Congresorganisatie from August 1998 to December 2011, focusing on event organization. Birgit's career began as a Project Manager at Amsterdam RAI and Eurocongres from January 1990 to August 1998. Birgit is an alumnus of Hotelschool The Hague, where education was completed from 1983 to 1986.
