Every tutoring app makes the same promise: we'll make learning easy. We're building one that doesn't.
CogBuddy is an AI math tutor for K-12 that refuses to give your kid the answer — on purpose. True learning happens one struggle at a time, and the moment it happens is deep focus on a problem a kid wants to solve: borderline frustration and interest at the same time. Most education software smooths that moment away. CogBuddy is built to protect it.
What CogBuddy won't do: hand over answers (we test for this before every release — a tutor that leaks an answer fails), pile on praise it doesn't mean, or let "I'm just not a math person" stand.
What it will do: ask the questions that expose what your kid actually misunderstands, remember how your kid learns — which mistakes keep coming back, which explanations land — and get more useful with every session. Parents see everything: every session, every struggle, every step forward. Built with homeschool families especially in mind.
