Bob Cottingham

Bob Cottingham is a Senior Network Planning Engineer at Cogent Communications, responsible for planning and managing DWDM equipment and routes supporting wave services on the Cogent Network. Prior to their current role, Bob has held positions at T-Mobile, Sprint, and Ericsson, focusing on designing and managing DWDM equipment and routes for various networks. With a background in electrical engineering, Bob has extensive experience in network planning and infrastructure upgrades, including managing wideband systems and telecommunications engineering projects for the US Air Force. Bob holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
