Chris Smith has over 20 years of experience in sales and account management. Chris started their career at Allegiance Telecom as an Account Executive before progressing to become a Major Account Manager and eventually a Sales Manager. Chris then moved on to TXU Communications, where they worked as a Senior Account Executive. Following that, they worked at Ionex/Birch Communications as a Senior Account Executive and at Time Warner Telecom as a Senior Account Executive. Their most recent position was at Cogent Communications, where they held various roles including National Account Manager, District Manager, Global Account Manager, Sales Manager, and currently, Director of Sales for the Dallas/Ft Worth area.
Chris Smith attended Stephen F. Austin State University from 1996 to 1999, where they earned a BBA degree in General Business & Management. Prior to that, from 1993 to 1996, they attended Eastfield College and obtained an Associates degree in General Studies.
