Don Decker

Don Decker has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Don started their career in 1990 with the United States Army as a Telephone Central Office Repairer, where they supervised a team and maintained communications equipment. Afterwards, they joined Sprint Nextel in 1995, initially as a Special Services Technical Analyst, before progressing to roles such as Advanced Network Services Engineer, Manager- Technical Engineering, and finally General Manager Engineering - Unified Communication. During their time at Sprint Nextel, they successfully integrated support teams, developed and implemented new tools and processes, and provided technical support to various departments and customers. In 2020, Don moved to T-Mobile as a Sr. Manager, leading a team responsible for the operational design and deployment of complex solutions. In their current role at Cogent Communications as the Director Product Engineering, they are responsible for leading the lifecycle of value-added solutions to support customer needs, including process development, ordering, vendor management, and lifecycle management.

Don Decker earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Baker University from 2007 to 2008. Don later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from Webster University from 2010 to 2011.
