Cogent Venture Partners is an independent, execution-centric advisory firm deeply embedded across the innovation ecosystem. We partner with ambitious founders, investors and corporates building transformative technologies and businesses across frontier, health and industrial sectors.

Our perspective is built from having operated on every side of a deal - institutional investor, investment banker, corporate venture operator and three-time founder - and from over two decades of global investment experience, operational track record and strong sustainability credentials. We bring the discipline of an institutional fund manager and the operator depth to build, fund and run companies that solve real-world problems.

We engage across four models:

For Startups & Scaleups <> In-House Investor & Fractional Leadership: Founder-side advisory and interim operating capacity. Growth Strategy · Funding Strategy · Investor Readiness · Capital Execution · Business Development · Fractional Leadership.

For Investment Funds <> Venture Advisor & Partner: Hands-on involvement across the fund lifecycle. Fund Strategy & Positioning · Fundraising & LP Support · Deal Sourcing & Pipeline · Due Diligence · Investment Execution · Portfolio Management & Rationalisation.

For Corporates <> External Corporate Investment Support: Design, strengthen and operate corporate venturing and innovation arms. Strategy & Mandate · Governance & Policy · Deal Sourcing · Deal Execution · Portfolio Management · Exit Management.

For Special Situations <> Asset Value Realization Advisor: Carve-outs, divestments, recapitalisations and company formations - for non-strategic corporate assets and startup restructurings.

Industry Experience: Health & Nutrition, Food & Beverage, Agriculture, Clean Energy, Bioindustrials, Biotech Platforms, Life Sciences, Industry 5.0, Digital Tools & Instruments.
