Steven Hammal

Steven Hammal has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Steven is currently working as a Senior Engineer at Cognassist since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Caspian, where they held various positions including Developer Team Lead from February 2022 to January 2023, Senior Developer, Scrum Master, and Mentor from July 2020 to February 2022, Lead Developer from May 2019 to July 2020, and Senior Software Developer from August 2018 to May 2019. Before joining Caspian, Steven worked at CEM : Centre for Evaluation & Monitoring as a Lead Systems Developer from September 2017 to August 2018 and as a Database Developer from June 2015 to August 2017. Steven began their career as an Intern at CEM in June 2014, where they gained experience in the complete software development life cycle. Steven also has prior experience as a Deputy Manager at The British Heart Foundation from April 2011 to September 2011, as a Store Manager at TECAZ LIMITED from January 2010 to April 2011, and as a Deputy Manager at The Officers Club from June 1997 to December 2009.

Steven Hammal completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Durham University, which they attended from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they studied Physics at City of Sunderland College from 1997 to 1999, although they did not obtain a degree.
