Andy Smith

Andy Smith is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership roles at prominent technology companies. Since July 2017, Andy has served as Senior Engineering Group Manager and Manager of Software Development at Cognex Corporation. Prior to this, Andy held the position of Senior Manager Software Engineering and Manager Software Engineering at Dell EMC from October 2013 to March 2017. Andy's career began at Concord Communications / CA, where roles included Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer II from July 2000 to January 2006, later advancing to Manager Software Engineering and Senior Software Engineer at SEPATON from January 2006 to October 2013. Andy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Bucknell University, earned between 1996 and 2000.
