Colum Murphy

Colum Murphy is an experienced professional in supply chain management, having held various roles within Cognex Corporation since May 2014, including Senior Demand Planner and Global Buyer. In these positions, Colum has managed global accessory planning and purchasing, ensuring efficient inventory levels and preventing supply chain issues through MRP and demand analysis. Prior to Cognex, Colum worked at C&C Group as a Purchasing Category Manager and Purchasing Associate, and at Apple as a Buyer/Contract Administrator. Early career experience includes roles as a Buyer and Junior Buyer at Stryker, and as a Supply Chain Coordinator at Protocol Food Ingredients Ltd. Colum holds a Higher Diploma in Business Finance and Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Food Business, both from University College Cork.
