Eric Moore is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in both management and technical roles. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Engineering and Consulting Engineer at Cognex Corporation since December 2016, Moore previously co-founded and led Chiaro Technologies as CEO from 2008 to December 2016. An accomplished academic, Moore was an NSF IGERT Fellow and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Colorado at Boulder from 2004 to 2011, where a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (Optics) was obtained. Earlier experience includes working as an Optical Engineer at Luna Technologies from February 2001 to November 2003. Educational background includes a Master of Science in Optics from the University of Rochester and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Lawrence University.
