John Richards

John Richards has extensive experience in sales and account management, currently serving as Global Account Manager for Tier 1 Accounts at Cognex Corporation since May 2014, where responsibilities include developing sales in machine vision systems across a large geographical region. Previously, John held various roles at SunSource and Swagelok Denver, where skills in sales development and customer training were honed. At Swagelok Denver, John achieved a remarkable 230% territory sales increase and successfully closed a significant worldwide sale. Early in John's career, an internship at Lockheed Martin/Colorado Space Grant Consortium provided foundational industry experience. Academically, John holds a Master of Business Administration from Colorado State University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
