Oliver Westermann

Oliver Westermann has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Oliver started their career in 2012 as a self-employed developer, specializing in embedded hardware and software. Oliver worked independently in this role until November 2015.

Following this, Oliver joined BENNING Elektrotechnik und Elektronik GmbH & Co. KG as an intern in the Research and Development department from March 2015 to October 2015.

In 2015, Oliver moved to Bytec Medizintechnik GmbH, where they worked as an Engineer for Embedded Software from October 2015 to May 2017.

Since May 2017, Oliver has been associated with Cognex Corporation. Oliver started as a Senior Software Engineer and worked in this role till March 2019. Following this, they were promoted to the position of Principal Software Engineer and served until April 2021. Currently, Oliver is a Team Lead & Principal Software Engineer at Cognex Corporation, a position they have held since April 2021.

Oliver Westermann attended W-HS Bocholt from 2013 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Applied Electrical Engineering and Automation.
