Olle Hedbrant

Olle Hedbrant is a mechanical engineer with extensive experience in robotics and automation. Currently serving as a Robot System Architect and Team Lead at Cognibotics since November 2020, Olle previously completed a Master's thesis focused on relative positioning systems for UAVs at Sjöräddningssällskapet in 2020. Early roles included a Customer Quality Engineering Summer Intern at BorgWarner Inc., where Olle analyzed failure causes and designed testing equipment, and a Student Tutor in Java Programming at Lund University, assisting in academic support for programming students. Participation in Lund Formula Student involved both autonomous drive development and electronics engineering for an award-winning race car. Initial work experience encompasses production assembly at CG Drives & Automation and customer service at Clas Ohlson. Olle holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University and a Gymnasieexamen in Natural Sciences from Berzeliusskolan.
