Cognicents, LLC provides training and workshops on Personal Finance, Small Business Services, and Professional and Career Services.

Personal Finance

Workshops on personal finance are broken out into 5 sessions:

1.  Banking, Credit, Credit Cards, and Loans
2.  Financial Management and Taxes
3.  Insurance
4.  Real Estate
5.  Estate Planning

Everyone who is employed makes money, pays taxes, has expenses, needs insurance, has a credit score, lives in a residence, has a bank account, and probably has at least 1 credit card.  Yet most of the people who handle their own money have had no education on financial management.  Why is this important?  In the long run, people who don't have this knowledge will most likely  lose money,  miss opportunities to grow their money, not properly protect their assets, pay too much in taxes, get into debt, and/or make a variety of other costly financial mistakes.

Small Business Services

Cognicents has 3 small business workshops, including:

1.  Starting a Small Business
2.  Federal Contracting
3.  Small Business Programs and Certifications

In addition, we offer other training including effective hiring practices, employee performance reviews,  scaling your business, and other training.

Professional and Career Services

Cognicents provides a professional career workshop that focuses on 6 areas:

1.  Setting and Achieving Career Goals
2.  Resume Writing
3.  Cover Letters
4.  Interviewing
5.  Negotiating
6.  Employee and Employer Rights

In addition, we offer assistance in the above areas on an individual basis.  Other training topics include changing careers and networking.
