Bahadir Ustaoglu has worked in various roles since 2003. In 2003, they were a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Georgia State University. From 2005 to 2006, they worked as a Management Analyst/IT Project Manager at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as a Senior Project/Product Manager and Business Consultant/Project Manager at Predictix/VeraBridge. From 2010 to 2014, they were the Director of Product Management at Predictix. From 2014 to 2015, they were the Director of Product Strategy at Manhattan Associates. From 2015 to 2022, they were the Founder & COO of Cognira, where they worked on developing AI driven software to help retailers, wholesalers, and brands with complex forecasting and promotional and assortment challenges. Currently, they are a Mentor at Atlanta Tech Village, where they help build long-term mentoring relationships with startup founders.

Bahadir Ustaoglu completed their high school education at Bornova Anadolu Lisesi (Izmir Koleji) from 1992 to 1998, studying Mathematics and Science. Bahadir then went on to Istanbul Bilgi University, where they earned a BSc in Computer Science and BSc in Mathematics between 1998 and 2002. In 2005, they completed their MBA in Information Systems and Management from Georgia State University. In 2006, they obtained their Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) from the Project Management Institute. In 2015, they received their Introduction and Elementary R certification from DataCamp.
