Ashutosh Kumar

Ashutosh Kumar's work experience begins with an internship at ATSystems LLP in 2011. Ashutosh then joined ABB as a Management Trainee, where they worked on engineering and commissioning projects for mining and metals, as well as software engineering for the ABB 800xA DCS system.

Following their time at ABB, Ashutosh joined Karsten Moholt AS as a Consultant, where they led research and development projects and worked on solution sales for rotating equipment. Ashutosh later became a Project Manager at Karsten Moholt, leading projects for predictive maintenance solutions and driving a shift in the company's business model towards selling uptime by combining domain expertise with machine learning.

In 2019, Ashutosh joined Cognite as the Manager of Customer Success, where they worked closely with customers to drive digital transformation and improve product offerings. Ashutosh then progressed to become the Director of Customer Success and later the Strategic Director of Customer Success, responsible for driving strategic partnerships and representing the link between Cognite and its clients.

Currently, Ashutosh holds the position of Global Director - Strategic Partner Success at Cognite, focusing on the commercial success of the partnership with SLB in the EMEA and APAC regions. Ashutosh is responsible for driving business, prioritizing engagements, and utilizing local and central resources as needed for success.

Ashutosh Kumar obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics and Communication from Manipal Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2011. Ashutosh then pursued a Master's Degree in Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety (RAMS) from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2014 to 2016. Prior to their higher education, they completed their High School education with a focus on Science and Mathematics at Atomic Energy Central School from 2004 to 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Ashutosh Kumar has obtained several certifications. In April 2019, they completed the "Agile Meets Design Thinking" course from Coursera. In July 2017, they became a certified Vibration Analyst - Category II after receiving training from Mobius Institute - Reliability Improvement and Condition Monitoring Training. In November 2012, they obtained the "ABB System AC 800M HI Safety Engineering" certification from ABB, followed by the "ABB System 800xA Engineering with Control Builder M" certification in January 2012, also from ABB.
