David V. is an accomplished legal professional with a diverse background in corporate law, immigration law, and strategic legal advisory. Currently serving as In-House Counsel at Cognite since May 2023, responsibilities include drafting and negotiating various agreements, leading multi-million dollar negotiations, overseeing data privacy and compliance, and providing strategic legal counsel to executive leadership. Previously, David held roles as Corporate Counsel and Head of Commercial at Mitratech, and as Corporate Counsel at CDW, where experience included managing complex agreements and M&A due diligence. Additionally, David practiced immigration law at DRV Legal PLLC, preparing employment-based visa applications, and has extensive experience in drafting various commercial contracts. David earned a Juris Doctorate from St. Mary's University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
